Abstract

This book is designed for the students who take the subject Asian Studies. It will conduct the students to study several countries in Asia covering the system of society, cuture and education.

The topic of this book includes the geopolitical elements of Asian states, focusing on land, people, and resources. Time and space concepts in Asian cultures Asian Family Values Concept Intercultural communication in Asia, Asian educational system, International relations in Asia (Globalism vs. Regionalism). Social change forces in Asia include industrialization, urbanisation, and the nuclear family. Cultural similarities and differences across Asian countries in terms of religion, ethnicity, and culture. Challenges and perspectives on Asia related to culture, history, and current issues such as peace and gender. Study topics related to Asian cultural traditions, lifestyles, creative representations, and their contemporary significance.
